Fa-chee-ah… what is that? If you’ve never heard of it, you are not alone! It’s slowly getting the attention it deserves. As science and research advances, we are learning more and more about this important missing piece to health and wellness!
Fascia is a connective tissue in the body that looks like a 3D spider-web. It’s one piece from head to toe, and it interconnects every single cell in our body!
It has a memory and records all of our life experiences! There are many things that impact our fascia and create tension, but it’s the stress (and what our body perceives as stress) that impacts it the most! Every emotional stress (unprocessed emotions, triggers, traumas), physical stress (injuries, surgeries, repetitive patterns) and negative thoughts, just to name a few. These affect us all! We may not realize it because most of it is unconscious, but we all have them!
Imagine pulling on a blanket, how it affects the entire blanket (not just the corner being tugged at), just like tight fascia pulls on the entire body! Therefore, when fascia pulls and clamps down, it also affects all the other structures in the body.
Our fascia and nervous system are strongly interconnected. It is also highly electromagnetic, as it is affected by our environment (energies and emotions around us). This impacts everyone’s fascia! But it also means more stress for the sensitive souls, Empaths and HSPs.
Because stress is accumulated and stored in our fascia, we absolutely need to address our body to process and neutralize it. Gently releasing our fascia is a holistic approach, 100% natural and hugely beneficial to feeling our best!
